⚖️ LL.B. – Three Year Degree Course
🎓 Eligibility for Admission
- Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any stream such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, or equivalent (including BBA, BCA, BPE, BFA, B.Sc. IT/IS, etc.) from a recognized university.
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (excluding concessional marks) in the qualifying examination.
- Degrees like Shastri, Acharya, Ayurveda, and other recognized qualifications are also considered eligible.
📊 Minimum Marks Requirement
- Minimum 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are required.
- Relaxation is applicable as per norms (Only for RAJASTHAN Candidates):
- 5% relaxation for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates
- 3% relaxation for Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Important:
Marks will be calculated based only on subjects considered for awarding the final degree.
📘 Course Structure (Semester Scheme)
- (II) LL.B. THREE YEARS (SEMESTER PROGRAMME):
A Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Law (LL.B.) for Affiliated Colleges shall be of Three
Years (Semester Scheme). These guidelines shall come into force from the Session 2024-25 and onwards.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING IN THE END SEMESTER EXAMINATION:
- There shall be a Three-Year Programme for the degree of LL.B. for which the
teaching shall be conducted through the lecture method, practical learning and
class performance during the session and examination shall be conducted through
written papers, practical and viva-voce at the end of each session.
- A student shall be required to have a minimum attendance of 75% or more in the
aggregate of all the courses/papers taken together in each semester, subject to the
University rules and regulations in force, from time to time. A Student who has
been detained due to shortage of attendance shall not be promoted to the next
Semester and he/she will be required to take fresh admission as a regular student.
- The college has to submit the names of all such students to the University who are
not eligible to appear in the Semester Examination, before its beginning. In case
any student appears by default, who in fact has been detained by the University or
college, his / her result shall be treated as null and void.
- A candidate who is eligible for promotion from the existing Semester in which
he/she is taking the Examination of LL.B. Three Years Programme (Semester
Scheme) to the next Semester shall take re-admission by submitting his/her
application form along with the prescribed fee within the prescribed time as
decided by the University. However, in case of late-admitted candidates in the
running Semester (but within the stipulated time), the attendance will be reckoned
from the date of admission of the candidate.
A candidate who after having passed in any one of the following examinations of
the State Universities of Rajasthan or any other University recognized for the
purpose by the Board of Management viz.(i) the examination of B.A.LL.B. or
LL.B. or subject to his having pursued for one academic year, a regular course of study for the said Diploma course at a college affiliated to the University.
A candidate who after having passed in any one of the following examinations of
the State Universities of Rajasthan or any other University recognized for the
purpose by the Board of Management viz.(i) the examination of B.A.LL.B. or
LL.B. or (ii) M.A. in Sociology/Economics/Social Work/Psychology/Public
Administration with a minimum of 48% marks in the aggregate and with a Paper
relating to Labour Law as a part of their examination or (iii) M.Com. Examination
Economic Administration/Financial Management/Business Administration or
M.B.A. examination with a minimum of 48% marks in the aggregate and with a
paper relating to Labour Law as a part of their M.Com./M.B.A. course shall be
eligible to appear at the examination for the Post-Graduate Diploma Course in
Labour Law, Labour Welfare & Personnel Management subject to his having
pursued for one academic year, a regular course of study for the said Diploma
course at a college affiliated to the University.
